UK: London Transport cleaners deserve decent wages and Olympic payments

In partnership with the RMT, the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers, Britain's fastest growing trade union, representing more than 80,000 members in almost every sector of the transport industry, from mainline and underground rail to shipping and offshore, buses and road-freight.

London Transport cleaners deserve decent wages and Olympics payments, but they are getting neither. RMT is balloting cleaners on three contracts for industrial action -- ISS and Initial on London Underground, and Carlisle on the Docklands Light Railway. We need your support to tell the Mayor of London to ensure that the workers who will clean up after London 2012's millions of residents and visitors are not frozen out of a decent reward.
