阿爾及利亞工會領袖、文化藝術部門全國公務員工會（SNFC）主席阿里·馬梅里（Ali Mammeri）因直接相關工會活動案件被判處十年有期徒刑。

2025年3月，他在沒有逮捕令之下被逮捕，期間被隔離四天，並報告遭毆打及強行脫衣以逼供。

聯合國特別報告員對其案件表示關注，強調此案涉及侵犯基本自由，並濫用反恐立法侵害工會權利。

他的定罪是更廣泛鎮壓行動的一部分，目前阿爾及利亞有超過200名良心犯被拘留。

急需國際社會團結一致，呼籲透過總統特赦釋放他，並赦免所有政治犯。

Arrested without a warrant in March 2025 and held incommunicado for four days, he reported being beaten repeatedly and forcibly undressed in order to extract "confessions" from him. We believe that he did not receive a fair trial. Furthermore, his case was the subject of a communication from several United Nations Special Rapporteurs, who expressed their concerns about violations of fundamental freedoms and the use of anti-terrorism legislation against the exercise of trade union rights. I respectfully call upon you to take the necessary measures, through presidential pardon and amnesty, to secure the release of Ali Mammeri and all prisoners of conscience. Such a decision would constitute a strong signal in favour of social dialogue, reconciliation and respect for fundamental rights in Algeria.
