Philippines: Support striking workers at Kawasaki Motors

In partnership with the Kawasaki United Labor Union (KULU).

The Kawasaki United Labor Union's strike at Kawasaki Motors Philippines began on 21 May 2025, after nearly a year of failed bargaining and company harassment. Initially, management offered a 7% wage increase and 21 benefits, but management later withdrew these offers, cutting the raise to 5% and benefits to five, citing sales losses and other business concerns. The union reduced its wage demand from 11.5% to 10.5%, yet management refused to budge and has now lowered its offer further to 5%. In an attempt to bust the union, the company has filed legal cases against union leaders, claiming the strike is illegal, but these are being dismissed. After months on strike, management still refuses to return to good-faith negotiations.
