| In partnership with the Association Salidarnast, which was founded in Bremen by Belarusian trade union activists, who left Belarus for security reasons. The organization was created to support those trade union activists who had been arrested and convicted by the Lukashenko regime. The Association Salidarnast provides humanitarian, legal and informational assistance to these people and their families; and encourages everyone to join the struggle for the release of political prisoners. The campaign is launched in partnership with the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions, the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), the International Union of Foodworkers (IUF), IndustriALL global union, Public Services International (PSI) and the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC). |
في 19 أبريل 2022، تم اعتقال العشرات من القادة النقابيين والناشطين في الكونغرس البيلاروسي للنقابات العمالية الديمقراطية. وكان سبب الاعتقالات هو الموقف النقابي العام المناهض للحرب وانتقاد السلطات البيلاروسية لانتهاكها حقوق الإنسان الأساسية. حُكم على أكثر من 30 نقابيًا بالسجن لمدة تصل إلى 9 سنوات بتهم ملفقة بسبب موقفهم. تمت تصفية جميع النقابات العمالية الديمقراطية وتم حظر النشاط النقابي كما طرد نشطاء النقابات والعمال الذين شوهدوا في احتجاجات 2020 من اماكن عملهم. لا يستطيع العمال المفصولون من العمل العثور على وظائف، وتُترك عائلاتهم بلا مصدر رزق. تم إدراج قادة النقابات المسجونين بشكل جماعي على أنهم متطرفون وإرهابيون. للنقابات الحق الكامل في العمل بحرية والدفاع عن حقوق ومصالح أعضائها. يجب وقف القمع والاضطهاد والإفراج عن السجناء السياسيين
